Friday, September 13th

Early Bird Registration Deadline

Early Bird Drawing Deadline is Friday, September 13, 2019. Two $340 winners to be drawn at the Captain's Meeting (10/3/2019) from all those who enter the tournament before 11:59pm on September 13, 2019.  Winners do not need to be present.  Postmarks by 9/13/2019 are acceptable. 

Tuesday, OCTOBER 1st

ONLINE Registration Deadline

Register online for the tournament August 1st until 11:59pm on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. 

ONSITE registration for the tournament on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 10am-12 midnight at the Southport Marina under the Registration Tent. All participants must be registered before midnight on October 3rd to compete.

2019 Captain Bag Gift - a goody bag will be given to the captain of the first 425 boats entered into the  2019 tournament. the Goody Bag will include a Just Rigs bag (one per boat/entry).  Goody bags must be picked up dirng retistration/packet pickup on Thursday, October 34d from 10am-12midnight at the Southport Marina (606 West West Street, Southport). Goody bags will not be mailed and will be forfieted after 12midnight on October 3rd.

Thursday, OCTOBER 3rd

 

10:00 a.m. Registration & Packet Pickup Opens at Southport Marina and remains open until Midnight.

5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.  Complimentary pizza for participants @ the registration tent

4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Entertainment by Big House Band.

4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Refreshments for sale.  Adams Beverages

7:00 p.m. Captains Meeting. It is strongly advised that all captains attend this meeting, as any rule changes or clarifications will be announced.

Friday, OCTOBER 4th

 

7:00 a.m - 9:00 a.m. – Check-Out Points open & competition begins.  See rules for locations After 9:00 a.m. check-out must be made at Southport Marina with a designated official.

11:00 a.m. – Scales Open: Weigh In Station

2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.   The PointClickFish.com Team will Stream weigh-ins from the scales LIVE from the U.S. Open King Mackerel Fishing Tournament. www.usopenkmtlive.com

3:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m.   Refreshments for sale.  Adams Beverages

4:00 p.m. – Check-In point manned – on NC Baptist Assembly @ Fort Caswell Fishing Pier and South Harbor  Marina's Fuel Dock- ICW.

5:00 p.m. – Competition ends for the day.

 

Saturday, October 5TH

 

7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. – Check-Out Points open & competition begins.  See rules for locations. After 9 a.m. Check-out must be made at Southport Marina with a designated official.

9:00 a.m. - 12:00p.m. -  Captain Charlie Kids Fishing Tournament -Southport City Pier. Registration at 9:00am. Tournament fun 10:00am-12:00pm. TEE SHIRTS WILL BE GIVEN OUT AS LONG AS THEY LAST. For more information contact City of Southport Parks & Recreation Department, (910) 457-7945.

11:00 a.m. – Scales Open: Weigh In Station

11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.  - Island Eatery Food Truck. 

      Long Beach Basket - Local Mahi - $14.00, Local Shrimp - $15.00 or Chicken - $12.00

                                            served lighthly fried with choice of fries or potato salad. 

     Fried Green Tomatoes - $8.00 served with homemade pimento cheese, bacon crumbles

                                                     and a side of ranch.

     Basket of Fries - $6.00 - add homemade pimento cheese and bacon $8.00

     Funnel Cake Fries - $8.00 - coated in powdered sugar with a side of marshmallow dip.

     Special:  Local smoked King Mackerel Dip served with crackers  - $10.00.

You don't have to be part of the tournament to enjoy the tournament.  Come out to the Southport Marina on Saturday, October 5th from 11am-7pm and grab a meal from Island Eatery, a food truck based in Oak Island.   

Island Eatery Menu:
